SparkLIS and PathArray run the lab
Orders, specimens, work queues, review, and reporting live in the LIS: SparkLIS for toxicology, chemistry, and molecular, PathArray for histology and anatomic pathology.
One connected system for orders, specimens, instruments, review, and results. Follow a single specimen through the lab and see the screen used at every step.
Pick a step to see what happens, which product handles it, and the screen your team or your client would use.
Northside Clinic orders a urine drug screen with LC-MS/MS confirmation in its portal. The test menu, providers, and diagnosis codes are already loaded, and required fields are checked before the order is submitted.
When the specimen arrives, SparkLIS matches it to the electronic order, prints a barcode label, and routes it to the right worklist and batch automatically.
SparkRelay sends the worklist to the LC-MS/MS and posts results back to SparkLIS through a secure local relay agent. Every message is logged, so problems are spotted before they delay results.
Results land in review with cutoffs, validity checks, and interpretation against the patient’s prescribed medications. The lab verifies and releases with a full audit trail.
The released result goes straight into the clinic’s EHR over HL7, the report appears in the client portal, and charges flow to billing, all without manual exports.
